Celebrity Nightclubs

Actors, actresses, singers, and other entertainers that make a name for themselves in Hollywood often choose to invest their money and their identities in other business. Though not all of them are good with money, many use this money to fulfill lifelong dreams. Some have found that by doing this, they have also found a good way to see a big return. There are many ways they can do this, but one very common way is to buy or build a nightclub. These are often successful because that celebrity will be there when they can, or the fact that their name is associated with the club and that means people flock there in hopes of rubbing elbows with them.

There are many celebrity nightclubs all across the United States. Here are just a few of them.

Rapper Jay-Z has his own sports bar located on Fifth Avenue in New York City. This bar is called 40/40 and has a ten foot wide big screen television, and also, a dress code that eliminates baseball caps, jerseys, and sneakers. The wings are recommended, and there is normally a DJ on duty.

The Cutting Room on West 24th Street in New York City is the property of Chris Noth and a partner. This club is very swanky, and offers something a little different than the other clubs in the area. They have a stage which often features live music. There are also vaudeville or burlesque shows each Saturday night. Expect good American food and some interesting entertainment.

The Pure nightclubin Vegas is one of the hottest clubs going. This is owned in part by Shaquille O’Neal and Celine Dion, among others. The club is very upscale, but also very appealing for the younger crowd. Anyone hoping to go should know it’s always crowded and it can be a long wait to get in, if you can get in at all.

Over on the west coast is the infamous Viper Room, which was owned in part by none other than Johnny Depp. Most became aware of this club because it was where River Phoenix died. This club has two floors, one is an open bar area, and the other opens a little later in the night, and is meant to have something of a relaxed atmosphere. Many bands, both nationally known and local to the area, play there. The Viper Room is located on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood, CA.

Jimmy Buffet owns the Margaritaville Café on Decatur Street in New Orleans. As you would expect, the margaritas are recommended. The establishment has a good variety of food and drink set in a Caribbean-style atmosphere. They also feature live entertainment.

That said, it’s always exciting to visit one of these establishments to see what all the excitement is about.  It’s important to note that a celebrity investor does not guarantee success, but hey, it can’t hurt.
